Looking for Simply Listed alternatives? Explore 8 smarter tools for mockup generation automation and bulk listing tools.
Etsy sellers who want to scale often have to create mind-numbing mass POD listings. It takes hours to list, edit SKU descriptions, and upload mockups. In fact, multiple stores face inventory syncing issues when SKUs are improperly listed.
This is where they use Simply Listed and save hours of tedious listing workflow. They can even produce Etsy mockups in batches. However, it has its drawbacks. In this guide, we will discover Simply Listed alternatives by comparing them in detail.
While most tools focus on templates, we focus on speed. See how bulk automation changes everything.
See the speed differenceSimply Listed is an Etsy listing automation tool launched in late 2024 by Cassiy Johnson, an Etsy Educator/Influencer/YouTuber and POD coach.
She designed Simply Listed to tackle two major pain points for POD entrepreneurs:
Here’s how Simply Listed works and its standout features:
Its pricing plans are:
Early adopters praise the time saved on creating images and listings. However, some of Simply Listed’s drawbacks have users searching for alternatives, which we’ll address next.
The quality of mockup images matters. Simply Listed’s automatically generated mockups (via Printify) can sometimes look overused or similar to other POD stores, resulting in a template dump syndrome. You might prefer creating your own mockups with PSD templates in Photoshop or using online powerful generators.
Simply Listed currently integrates only with Printify for product creation. If you use a different print provider (Printful, Gelato, etc.) or if you sell digital products, Simply Listed may not fit your workflow, and you will have to look for alternatives.
Simply Listed automates a lot, which is great for speed, but can be limiting if you want more control. Some sellers prefer to fine-tune their listing details, image styles, SEO keywords, etc.
Alternatives can offer more customization – for example, letting you use your own PSD templates for mockups, or edit listing data in a spreadsheet before uploading.
The table below highlights some of the top alternatives and how they compare.
Tool | Best For | Bulk Mockups? | Pricing (Starting) |
Bulk Mockup | Photorealistic mockups via Photoshop | Yes – uses PSD templates | $15/mo or $77/yr |
Prelist | Listing and editing SKUs for Printify POD sellers | Yes – Printify generator | $29.99/mo (unlimited) |
Shop Uploader | Spreadsheet-based bulk listing | No | $5/mo (50 items); tiers up to $39/mo |
Easy Listing Uploader | Budget Excel bulk uploader | No | $6.99/mo (500 items); $12.99/mo (50k items) |
Vela | Bulk editing & crossposting | No | ~ $10/mo per 250 listings |
Evlista | Advanced bulk edit + repricing | No | $6.99/mo (Basic); $14.99 Pro |
Sellbrite | Multi-channel inventory & listing | No | Free (<30 orders); Pro from ~$29/mo |
Nembol | Multichannel bulk via CSV/UI | No | $39/month (Basic, 500 products) |
Next, we’ll examine each of these alternatives in detail so you can decide which suits your Etsy shop’s needs.

Bulk Mockup is a Photoshop plugin designed to batch-create product mockup images at scale. With Bulk Mockup, you prepare a PSD template for your product, then feed the plugin a folder of your design files.
It will automatically insert each design into the template, resize as needed, and export all the images for you. In practice, this means you can produce hundreds of photorealistic listing photos in minutes instead of painstakingly mocking up each one.
Ilya Samokhvalov, a POD seller, said, “Great tool! Saves me 5+ hours every week – I don’t have to manually create a bunch of mockups for my products (designs) anymore.”
Bulk Mockup is my go-to choice for creating high-quality Etsy listing mockups at scale. I highly recommend it to POD sellers who want photorealistic visuals. You can create 1000+ mockups in 10 minutes. You can check our YouTube tutorials for installation and batch mockup generation.

Prelist is an all-in-one tool specifically built for Etsy sellers, with an emphasis on bulk product creation for print-on-demand. Think of Prelist as an automation layer over Printify and Etsy.
Its flagship feature, the “Printify Uploader”, lets you automatically upload multiple designs to Etsy via Printify. For example, if you have 50 new designs for T-shirts, Prelist can take all 50, create Printify products for each and publish them to Etsy simultaneously.
If you print through Printify and need to create lots of listings fast, Prelist is the closest alternative to Simply Listed’s all-in-one approach. It also offers bulk editing, like updating photos or tags across listings, ideal for Etsy shop management.

Shop Uploader is a bulk listing tool that works via spreadsheets. It’s perfect for sellers who have all their product info ready and want to bypass Etsy’s one-by-one listing form.
With Shop Uploader, you download an Excel template, fill in your product data such as titles, descriptions, prices, SKUs, etc., and then the tool uploads that spreadsheet to create listings in your Etsy shop. It’s akin to Amazon or eBay flat-file uploads, but made user-friendly for Etsy.
Dominic, the owner of MagicLinen, expressed, “The interface is super user-friendly, making bulk editing a breeze. What truly won me over was the incredible customer support – they had my back every step of the way. This tool has become my go-to for efficient Etsy shop management.”
I’d recommend Shop Uploader to Etsy sellers who have their product info with images ready to go. For instance, if you design products offline or have a catalog from another platform that you want to import into Etsy. It’s also great for digital product sellers to list them in one go.
Easy Listing Uploader is another Etsy bulk upload tool, similar in concept to Shop Uploader, but it is simpler and more affordable. It’s an Excel-based uploader.
You download their Listing Uploader Template (an Excel file), enter your listings data, and then upload it to create or update listings on Etsy. It aims to be easy to use, even for non-techies.
It is a simple, cost-effective bulk listing solution for quickly uploading or editing Etsy listings without fuss. Its plans are ideal for solo sellers and small businesses.

Vela is a popular tool known originally for bulk editing Etsy listings. It has evolved into a multi-channel listing management platform, supporting Etsy and Shopify. You edit virtually any field in your Etsy listings in bulk – titles, descriptions, tags, prices, sections, variations, etc.
If you have ever wanted to change a word in all your titles, or update tags across dozens of listings, or even duplicate listings, Vela was built to do that efficiently.
Joe Caffrey, an Etsy seller, expressed, “I just used Vela to bulk edit nearly 300 listings on my Etsy shop, and it saved me countless hours of tedious work. The interface is clean, intuitive, and lightning fast, which is exactly what you want when managing a large catalog of products.”
I view it as a Simply Listed alternative for managing and optimizing your Etsy listings with bulk upload and editing capabilities. It is recommended for any Etsy seller with a moderate to large number of listings.
Trustpilot: 3.5/5
Evlista is an all-in-one Etsy shop management solution that combines powerful bulk editing with a unique dynamic pricing feature. Evlista is squarely focused on optimizing your Etsy shop’s performance within Etsy.
Say you add a new size or color across your product line – Evlista can add that variant to all listings in one step. Or, if hoodie blanks got more expensive, you could raise just hoodie variant prices across all listings globally. It’s relatively newer on the scene but has quickly gained traction for high-volume sellers.
Gary, a user, said, “Saves me a ton of time. Fast and helpful customer service!”
It’s one of the most feature-rich Simply Listed alternatives in terms of optimizing and managing listings after they’re created. I would recommend Evlista to any Etsy seller who has a large inventory and wants to keep their shop at peak performance.

Sellbrite is a bit different from the other tools on this list. It’s a multi-channel selling platform (now owned by GoDaddy) that supports Etsy, along with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Shopify.
Sellbrite’s strength lies in managing inventory and listings across multiple platforms – and Etsy all in one place. For someone who sells the same products on Etsy and other sites, Sellbrite can bulk list products to Etsy and keep inventory in sync.
Christine, a user, commented, “Love how easy it is is to set up and use – Many great channels”
It’s likely overkill for an Etsy-only hobby seller or someone just needing to upload mockups. But for a company that has, say, its own website, maybe Amazon listings, and now wants to bulk push products to Etsy, Sellbrite is ideal.
Trustpilot: 3.6/5
Nembol is a multichannel listing and inventory management platform that helps sellers publish and sync products across numerous e-commerce channels from one dashboard.
It supports listing on marketplaces like Etsy, Amazon, and eBay, as well as on Shopify stores, one’s own website, and even social platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, and Google Shopping.
It synced my inventory in real time. When a sale happens on one channel, the stock quantity is reduced on all other connected channels to prevent overselling.
Julie, an Etsy and Amazon seller, said, “I love this site I can now integrate Amazon two ebay accounts and others including Etsy this will prove invaluable to me in my business.”
Nembol is best suited for serious e-commerce sellers who operate across multiple sales channels, including Etsy. If you’re an Etsy seller with a growing business who wants to expand to platforms like Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc., Nembol provides a unified tool to do so efficiently.
With these eight alternatives, Etsy sellers have a rich toolkit to choose from for bulk uploading and optimizing their listings.
Each tool has its niche. In fact, some can be combined for even better results. Here is a workflow you will prefer.
Ultimately, the “best” alternative depends on your specific needs. Ask yourself basic questions.
By evaluating the features, pros/cons, and pricing above, you can find a solution that will make listing on Etsy faster, easier, and more effective than relying on Simply Listed alone.

Etsy’s native interface doesn’t have a one-click bulk upload for new listings. However, Etsy does provide a CSV import/export feature for shop inventory. In your Shop Manager under Settings > Options > Download Data, you can export listings to CSV and import listings.
Yes, tools like Shop Uploader and Easy Listing Uploader use Etsy’s authorized API and are compliant with Etsy’s policies. Etsy even lists some in their App Marketplace. They are all safe to use.
The best way is to use a bulk editing tool such as Vela or Evlista (or Prelist’s bulk editor). These allow you to filter specific listings and apply changes in a few clicks.
For example, to raise all prices by $2, you can select all listings in Vela, use the Price bulk edit, add $2 to each, and apply – it will update all listings quickly.
Etsy doesn’t offer bulk photo uploads on existing listings through their site, but yes, with tools like Evlista and Vela, you can bulk add or replace photos. For instance, Evlista lets you select a batch of listings and add a new image (like a size chart) as the last photo for all of them.
If you’re new and not very tech-savvy, Easy Listing Uploader is a solid choice due to its simplicity and low cost. It provides a guided Excel template which is fairly straightforward, and their support is helpful if you get stuck.
You can experiment with Vela during the free trial without breaking anything for a more complex option. For complete listing creation, Prelist is quite user-friendly for Printify users.
