Use this guide to manually install the Bulk Mockup Photoshop Plugin Version 3 on a Windows device when you do not want to install it through Adobe Creative Cloud. The video below shows the full process, and the written steps underneath make it easy to follow at your own pace.
Before you begin
You need Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 or later. See Which Software Is Required for the Bulk Mockup Photoshop Plugin?.
Download your Bulk Mockup Version 3 file from your Gumroad purchase email or Gumroad library.
Keep your Gumroad license key ready because you will need it after installation.
If you use Photoshop CC 2017 to CC 2021, contact [email protected] for the older compatible plugin version.
Step 1: Download the Bulk Mockup Version 3 file
Open your Gumroad purchase email or Gumroad library.
Download the Bulk Mockup Version 3 plugin file to your Windows computer.
Save your license key in a place where you can copy it later.
The downloaded plugin file uses the .ccx extension.
Step 2: Turn on file name extensions in Windows
You must see the full file extension before you can rename the plugin file correctly.
Open File Explorer.
Select View.
Enable File name extensions.
Step 3: Rename the file from CCX to ZIP
Find the downloaded Bulk Mockup Version 3 file.
Right-click the file and select Rename.
Change the extension from
.ccxto.zip.Confirm the change if Windows asks for confirmation.
Only change the file extension. Do not change the rest of the file name.
Step 4: Extract the ZIP file
Right-click the ZIP file.
Select Extract All.
Choose the folder where you want to extract the files.
Click Extract.
After extraction, you should see the Bulk Mockup Photoshop Plugin folder.

[version]with the Photoshop version installed on your computer, such as 2024, 2023, or 2022.Copy the extracted Bulk Mockup folder.
Paste it into the Plug-ins folder.
If you have more than one Photoshop version installed, place the plugin in the version you use most often. If an older Bulk Mockup folder is already in the Plug-ins folder, you can overwrite it.
Step 6: Restart Photoshop
Close Photoshop completely if it is already open.
Open Photoshop again.
Photoshop must restart before it can load the newly copied plugin files.
Step 7: Open and activate the plugin
In Photoshop, open Plugins.
Select Bulk Mockup.
Paste your Gumroad license key into the activation screen.
Click Activate.
After activation, the Bulk Mockup Photoshop Plugin is ready to use inside Photoshop.
If the plugin does not appear in Photoshop
Make sure you copied the extracted plugin folder to the correct Photoshop Plug-ins path.
Make sure you restarted Photoshop after copying the files.
Check that you installed the plugin into the Photoshop version you actually use.
Make sure you are using Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 or later.
If you cannot rename the file
Go back to File Explorer and enable File name extensions.
