My Bulk Mockup asks for license again, what to do?

If the Bulk Mockup Photoshop Plugin asks for your license key again after a reinstall, update, or device change, you usually do not need a new key. Use the same Gumroad license key from your original purchase, then follow the steps below to reactivate the plugin.

Before you begin

  • You need access to the email address used for your Gumroad purchase, or access to your Gumroad library.

  • Keep your Gumroad license key ready before opening the plugin.

  • Bulk Mockup’s website says the current plugin works with Adobe Photoshop CC 2022 and later. If you use Photoshop CC 2017 to CC 2021, contact [email protected] for the older compatible plugin version.

Why this happens

A reinstall or update can make the Bulk Mockup Photoshop Plugin show the activation screen again. This does not usually mean you need to buy a new license. In most cases, you only need to reopen the plugin and enter the same Gumroad license key again.

Step 1: Find your original Gumroad license key

  1. Open the Gumroad purchase email you received after buying Bulk Mockup.

  2. If you cannot find the email, sign in to your Gumroad library and open your Bulk Mockup purchase.

  3. Copy the full license key exactly as it appears.

If you also need the plugin file again, use the download option from the same Gumroad purchase page.

Step 2: Open the plugin in Photoshop

  1. Open Adobe Photoshop.

  2. Click Plugins.

  3. Select Bulk Mockup.

If the plugin does not appear, reinstall it first using How to Manually Install Bulk Mockup Version 3 on a Windows Device or How to Manually Install Bulk Mockup Version 3 on a Mac Device.

Step 3: Reload the plugin once

  1. Close the plugin panel if it is already open.

  2. Open Plugins > Bulk Mockup again.

  3. Check whether the plugin validates your existing key automatically.

This quick reload can solve the issue when the activation screen appears after an update or reinstall.

Step 4: Enter the same Gumroad license key again

  1. If the activation screen still appears, paste the same Gumroad license key you copied from your purchase.

  2. Complete the activation in the plugin.

  3. Wait for the plugin to finish loading.

Do not request a new key before trying your original Gumroad license key again.

Step 5: If you changed devices, check the activation limit article

If you moved to another computer, the issue may be related to device activation instead of a missing key. One Bulk Mockup license can be used on up to 2 devices.

What to do if your key is rejected

  • Make sure you pasted the full Gumroad license key with no missing characters.

  • Try reopening the plugin one more time and paste the same key again.

  • If the key still looks rejected or deactivated, contact How to contact Bulk Mockup support so the team can check whether the key needs to be reset.
